An American late 18th century mahogany four drawer beaufront chest. The chest is fitted with four drawers in highly figured Santo Domingo mahogany. They have a contrasting inlaid bead and inlaid escutcheons. The chest has a shaped skirt and French feet. It retains its original set of brasses. Condition is very good with a fine finish and glowing patina. It is probably from Philadelphia. Circa: 1790. Dimensions: Height: 38 1/2″ Width: 42 1/2″, Depth: 21 1/2″.
